Learn the skills and strategies for writing for the web at Quantico’s flagship workshop, ‘Introduction to Writing for the Web Workshop’ (iWWW). This web-writing workshop trains participants in Singapore, and South East Asia, to write content for websites, mobile platforms, social media channels, and virtual reality environments, by teaching you how to think about online content as a clear, understandable process that balances form with function. Quantico Communications LLP is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organisation. This workshop has undergone and been certified by international quality assurance testing and audit.

Web-Writing Workshop Overview.

iWWW focuses on creating content that invites and informs users when writing for the web. The workshop combines training on content creation (copywriting and technical writing) with coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress) for a total and immersive perspective. You will learn about online behaviours, and learn to recognise and implement digital consumption trends. Your web-writing workshop emphasises approachability, user-friendly content, and cleaner narratives when writing for web, mobile and VR spaces.

The future of web content + frameworks

Let’s learn about writing for the web, by drawing first on the wisdom of the crowd. When we discuss writing for the web, we’re actually studying human behaviour online — how our audiences consume and react to all of our content on the web, via mobile, and in digital, and virtual reality spaces. To become an expert in web-writing is to recognise, rethink, and reshape traditional writing practices to fit with online content expectations and engagement.

Workshop Takeaways.

You will learn how to write, produce, manage, and distribute phenomenal web content by (i) understanding how human beings consume content online, and (ii) creating rich online (and offline) environments that convert passive recipients of texts into active participants of contexts. When completed, this web-writing workshop will have thoroughly prepared you to write web copy that builds positive connections between readers, responders, and robots.

This workshop responds to the pressing need for organisations and individuals to create digital content that doesn’t just live online, but thrives and drives rapid audience growth and engagement. From search to semantics, Quantico’s Writing for the Web workshop draws on more than a decade of experience building and launching content for Singapore’s digital-thirsty markets. Learn how to write for the web, mobile applications, virtual reality environments, and digital applications. There are no conditions or pre-requisites for attending this workshop.

Workshop Learning Objectives.

On completion of this workshop you will be able to:

• Understand what the web is, where it came from, and where it’s heading

• Write web content that responds to human and bot behaviours

• Integrate rich media into your web content

• Build a vivid web community

• Master the Content + Intent + Context = Meaning equation

• Keep pace with evolving web-writing trends

• Write appealing web copy that tells, sells, and yells on command

Beyond Your Web-Writing Workshop.

Support doesn’t stop when the workshop is over. As web content creators, our rules are tried and tested when it comes to telling stories. Among these is the one that tells us where to look for stories. There are always stories in your organisation and as digital ambassadors we’ll keep helping you learn how to share these stories with your world. Quantico’s community support is free and for life. Your post-workshop support keeps you connected to your instructors and keeps the momentum going. Keep in touch and keep coming back for more help and insights into writing for the web.
