As communities face extraordinary challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, many orgnisations and individuals are struggling to communicate key information simply and cleanly. This course responds to the demand for making complex content easy to understand and beautiful to look at through visual design methods.
Course overview
Information Design Fundamentals (IDF-4H) Singapore is a free 4-hour taught course about making data desirable by adapting content to appropriate reading methods. This course will be taught online via a closed live-streaming session from 2pm to 6pm Singapore local time.
Course objectives
Quantico Centre for Communication + Information Literacy is providing a fully-subsidised 4-hour online course to help individuals and organisations involved in communicating critical content to:
• Understand how we read and process content
• Deconstruct and integrate text with graphics
• Create user-driven experiences through visual language
• Use colour theory, typography, spatial relationships, and layout
